Frivolous suit sought damages for deceiving consumers about a product's origins

L'Oréal is not deceiving consumers over its French roots, according to a recent ruling. US Federal Court Judge Analisa Torres dismissed a proposed class action lawsuit this week, stating that “a mere reference to Paris” is not enough to deceive consumers as to where a product is made.
